New Power Plasma Co., Ltd. and Hankuk Fiber Co., Ltd. donated 100 million Korean Won in sponsorship funds to the international development cooperation organization World Together for the countries that participated in and supported the Korean War, marking June as the Month of Patriots and Veterans.
According to Hankuk Fiber on the 2nd, the sponsorship was delivered the previous day at the World Together Mapo office in the presence of World Together Chairman Kim Yong-woo, New Power Plasma Vice Chairman Wi Soon-im, Hankuk Fiber Vice President Jo Sang-ho, and New Power Plasma Head of Management Han Se-hee, among others.
Chairman Kim Yong-woo stated, "The remarkable economic growth of the Republic of Korea was possible thanks to the sacrifice and support of the participating and supporting countries, including Ethiopia," adding, "Support projects for these countries are a great example of Korea not forgetting the nations of friends who stood by us during difficult times."
The 100 million Won raised by New Power Plasma and Hankuk Fiber will be used for children's education and economic support in the participating and supporting countries that are in urgent need of assistance.
