The Miryang City Citizens' Scholarship Foundation held a donation ceremony on the 12th, where Hankuk Fiber(CEO Lee Jin-gwang) presented 20 million Korean Won as scholarship funds aimed at fostering local talent and supporting the development of prestigious schools.

Hankuk Fiber focuses its investment on Research and Development (R&D) for its main businesses—defense, pipes, and rail vehicle components—and manufactures cutting-edge composite material products.

Furthermore, in line with the Green New Deal policy, the company is actively pursuing various eco-friendly businesses, including hydrogen storage vessels, offshore wind power, and floating solar structures.

Hankuk Fiber previously contributed 50 million Korean Won even before the Miryang City Citizens' Scholarship Foundation was established in 2003, and its total contribution to the scholarship fund has now reached 135 million Korean Won.

CEO Lee Jin-gwang stated, "Our company will not only focus on pursuing profit but also actively respond to the needs of the local community as a member of society."
